I’ve learned that feeling anxiety or sadness is like a gentle nudge or wake-up call. It’s a reminder.
A reminder you are taking fleeting thoughts and feelings as saying something about who you are.
“You’ll never achieve that”.
“What’s the point”. “
How am I going to do x”.
Anything that comes with a feeling of hopelessness, fear, frustration or any other emotion is just energy passing through.
If you let it.
Why? Because thoughts and feeling don’t hold on to us – we hold on to them.
They don’t belong to us. They are not “ours”. They just want to pass, because that’s their very nature – to pass.
It’s what they want to do. We just have to let them.
